Before anything else, you need to make sure that you have a garden or plot in your property where you can actually plant your preferred vegetables in. But if you do not have the space, then you can use plant containers to grow your vegetables, but this method could limit your purpose.

Choose your vegetables

There are many kinds of vegetables, and you need to choose the ones that you love the most to eat. Grow the necessary vegetables that you’re using in your daily life, and you can be healthier by eating your own planted vegetables.

Soil and compost

You need to remember that the most fundamental factor in having a garden of vegetables is the fertility of your soil. You must add compost to your plot in order to grow healthy vegetables. It is best if you choose organic compost. And compost can also help in making sure that unwanted weeds will not dare grow with your vegetables constantly.

Start planting

Buy your planting seeds and follow the given instructions for each vegetable. Make sure that you ask for guidance from a garden centre if you have no background about gardening, or do your research on how to better take care of your plants. Take note to start with your favorites but simple-to-plant vegetables, then escalate to a more complex plants when you gained the experience.

Watering and weeds

One of the most important things that you need to do is to water your plant every day. And if weeds start to grow in the soil, avoid using insect sprays, since those products are poisonous to the weeds, and they can be poisonous for you too.
